an executive
They slept in a hotel in New York a couple of days before Christmas. In dreams an angel appeared and said: "I bring you good news: the Lord Jesus this Christmas will visit your home."
The man was excited. It was not very religious, but considered it a miracle. Quickly returned to his home and his wife started the preparations to welcome Jesus into your home. Commissioned great food, special sweets and fine wines.
At night while busily to decorate the room rang the doorbell. They were two elderly nuns who sought help for charity work performed at his monastery.
- "But this is time to bother? Come back another day," the man "Now I am busy preparing for an important visit."
The next morning, on Christmas Eve, one of his colleagues asked a hole in his schedule to see him. I wanted to tell an important personal matter.
- "It's not going to be. I am extremely busy with a visit that is about to arrive and can not help you. We'll talk after Christmas."
On the way home from the office, found a car on the shoulder broken and a mother with two children trying in vain to change a flat tire. But not stopped. Accelerated to get away from there as soon as possible. "I have to get home early for dinner. I'm not a mechanic, I'm going to be messy. Sure you know making a living."
Once home served dinner and waited for the arrival of Jesus having a few cocktails. But Jesus did not come. All excited waiting for the illustrious family and yet look at the hours passed and Jesus did not appear.
Tired of waiting, disappointment, and after midnight went to bed. The next morning, on waking, the executive found himself faced with another angel.
- "An angel can lie?" yelled "I prepared everything carefully, we hope all night and Jesus did not appear. Why do I spend that joke?"
- "I do not lie. You're the one who had no eyes to see. Jesus was here three times, in the person of the nuns, your co-worker and the family car broken down, but you were not able to to recognize and welcome him. "
